Please remember that construction activities are weather dependent, which may impact scheduling.

 

Construction Information

  • New drainage installation
    -West side of Brighton Boulevard from 31st to 44th streets
    -East side of Brighton Boulevard from 29th to 31st streets

  • Water line replacements from 33rd to 36th streets and from 39th to 44th streets
    -Tenants will be notified in advance if service outages are required

 

Information for Drivers

  • Northbound Brighton Boulevard from 38th to 44th streets CLOSED starting mid-day April 14for several months

  • Detour:
    Detour Option 1: Head west on 38th Street, north on Washington Street, east on I-70 or east on 47th Avenue
    Detour Option 2: Head east on 38th Street, north on Walnut Street, east on 40th Street, north on Josephine Street and west on Steavenson Place.

  • Southbound Brighton Boulevard from 44th to 38th streets remains OPEN

  • 35th Street closed west of Brighton Boulevard for a couple of days starting as soon as April 20

  • Traffic shifted to one lane in each direction from 29th to 38th streets for several months

  • Northbound and southbound left turn lane closed on Brighton Boulevard at the 38th Street intersection
    -Left turns available from through lane

  • McFarland Drive closed to through traffic at Arkins Court to 44th Street
    -Local and Coliseum access will be maintained

  • 40th Street closed from Brighton Boulevard to Wynkoop Street for several months

  • NO ON-STREET PARKING on both sides of Brighton Boulevard – Ticketing and towing enforcement is in place

  • Free RiNo Art District shuttle the first Friday of the month from 5 p.m. – 12 a.m. and Saturdays from 2 – 10 p.m.

 

Information for Pedestrians

  • Pedestrian access on east side sidewalk from 31st to 40th streets

  • Pedestrian access on west side sidewalk from 29th to 31st streets and 40th to 44th streets

  • For your safety, please cross the street at signalized intersections

 

Information for Bicylists

  • For your safety, alternate bike routes are encouraged. Please use Wynkoop Street or Arkins Court

 

Information for Businesses

  • Business access will be maintained on both sides of Brighton Boulevard

 

Please continue to visit your favorite businesses on Brighton Boulevard, as they will be open during construction.
